Let the death panels commence
 | By: Peter Heck On Friday, August 7, 2009, Sarah Palin wrote on her Facebook page: "The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but [it] will not...it will simply refuse to pay the cost. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide...whether they are worthy of health care. There is an old saying that states, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." No doubt everyone would agree with that thought. Bush spoke on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln back on May 1, 2003, he reminded Americans, "Our mission [in Iraq] continues...we do not know the day of final victory, but we have seen the turning of the tide." No one remembers those words because the mainstream media chose to ignore them entirely. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 | |
